{"id":650,"date":"2022-09-08T14:45:38","date_gmt":"2022-09-08T14:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sensationsocial.com\/?p=650"},"modified":"2022-09-09T10:21:59","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T10:21:59","slug":"czech-tennis-teen-comments-on-bum-touching-controversy-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sensationsocial.com\/?p=650","title":{"rendered":"Czech tennis teen comments on bum-touching controversy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sara Bejlek was seen being patted on the backside and kissed by her father and coach at the US Open<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\">Czech tennis player Sara Bejlek has told tennis fans that the scenes which saw her father and coach celebrating a win with her at the US Open <em>\u201cwon\u2019t happen again,\u201d <\/em>after<em>\u00a0<\/em>a clip showing them patting her several times on the backside triggered debate.\u00a0 \u00a0<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\">The sixteen-year-old went viral after qualifying for her first ever Grand Slam tournament by seeing off Heather Watson.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\">In the moments that followed the win, cameras caught two men later identified as the youngster\u2019s father and coach celebrating the triumph by patting her on the backside and, in her father\u2019s case, kissing her on the mouth.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous social media users were outraged with the display, demanding that the WTA women\u2019s tour investigate the incident.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere\u2019s absolutely no reason to touch a 16-year-old girl on her butt like that. It\u2019s beyond inappropriate,\u201d<\/em> one onlooker tweeted of the <em>\u201ccreepy\u201d<\/em> exchange.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAs the video progressed it got worse and worse.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Creepy coaches #WTA #USOpen #Bejlek<br \/>\nShe\u2019s 16 pic.twitter.com\/8ORvrHTVkX<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Eggy (@TheBoiledEgg) August 27, 2022<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe WTA needs to look into this, especially since these young girls are traveling [with] men from a very young age. Also y\u2019all can say it\u2019s the dad or whatever, but does your dad touch your bum like that,\u201d<\/em> another party posed.<\/p>\n<p>In the aftermath of the furor, however, Bejlek has broken her silence on it.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\"><em>\u201cOf course I saw the video. It was a spontaneous reaction of the whole team.\u00a0We rejoiced,\u201d<\/em> the teenager explained\u00a0to reporters.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\"><em>\u201cIt may certainly seem inconvenient and uncomfortable to some, but we have already discussed it with the team. He tapes me, he massages me,\u201d<\/em> she explained.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{\"><em>\u201cIf something similar happened in the Czech Republic, no one would deal with it.
